Turning a dated safety video into an engaging animated experience - replicated across facilities and languages.
A German manufacturing plant needed to modernize how it communicated safety protocols to visitors. We built a fully animated, character-led video that worked so well it was adapted for a second facility in two languages.
YE Agency: Creative Agency — Toronto, Canada.
End Client: German Manufacturing Facility.
The challenge
The facility had an outdated safety video that no longer reflected the company's brand or communication standards. Visitor safety briefings were a mandatory touchpoint — but the existing video wasn't engaging, wasn't on-brand, and wasn't doing its job. They needed something that felt current, clear, and authoritative from the first frame.
Our approach
We developed a full 2D animated video with a custom AI character as the host — designed to guide visitors through the safety protocol in a way that felt modern and accessible. Every visual element was designed from scratch: character, environments, icons, and motion language. The result was a video built to last, easy to adapt, and easy to localize.
Process
Results
The client was so satisfied with the result that they immediately commissioned a second version for another facility — a direct indicator that the video met both the creative and functional brief. The project was then adapted into two languages, requiring precise animation adjustments to sync with different voiceover timing and cultural nuances.
Working through YE Agency (Toronto) as the intermediary, we delivered a production that a major European manufacturing client deployed across multiple plants — proof that the work holds up at enterprise level.
